22nd Regional Competition of Breeding Farms

The milk production technology should provide for the fulfillment of the main tasks: increase in productivity of animals and duration of their economic use; increase in labor productivity, its all-round facilitation and prestige; reduction in the cost of production, ensuring its high quality, as well as environmental safety of production. This is achieved by improving the housing and feeding system, which ensure satisfaction of biologically and physiologically determined needs of animals, mechanization of primary and auxiliary work processes; rational organization of production and labor; optimizing space-planning and construction solutions for production facilities aimed at introduction of advanced technologies; and implementing a set of measures for the primary processing of milk, its storage at production sites; enabling reproduction of livestock and breeding at the complex. In domestic and foreign dairy cattle breeding, two main methods of keeping animals are used: tied-up and loose.
At the regional council summing up the results of the 22nd regional competition of breeding farms, AgroTech presented the cutting-edge livestock management systems, equipment for automatic removal of the milking machine and linear milking machines for households with tied-up keeping. The company specialists also discussed related issues and price categories, as well as the cost of implementation of such technologies at current farms.
